About Us

Ghazni Afghan kabob restaurant owner

OUR STORY

At our first location on A street, the owner lived near the restaurant for years, watching as they served Indian food and dreaming of the possibility of opening an Afghan restaurant in the neighborhood. In 2014, the Indian Restaurant moved and Ghazni Afghan Kabobs was born. Our delicious food is the product of a lifelong dream of sharing our family recipes from Afghanistan with people who want to try new cuisines. Our Winton location opened its doors in May of 2019 and we are committed to keep going forward with out mission of serving high quality food, friendly service and a clean atmosphere for our guests and community.

TESTIMONIALS

They were extremely friendly and the food was amazing!  It was one of my first times trying Afghan food and it did not disappoint.  The chicken kabobs were amazing as were the samosas.

ghazni afghan kabob review

After having lived in Hayward for almost 4 years I finally ate at Ghazni. I will definitely try come here more often, now that I know how good it is :) . The restaurant is located around a corner with a simply lit sign. The insides have two dining rooms, tables laid out with white table cloths and a clean, open vibe.
